I am 23 years old and I am a college student at Kennesaw State Univeristy. I am studying Elementary Education and I’ll be a student teacher in a 3rd grade classroom during my upcoming senior year! Beauty has been a passion of mine since I was little and my mom often found me putting makeup on my toy dinosaurs like they were my clients (yes dinosaurs, lol). I started doing makeup for friends and family when I was 15 and I’ve been doing wedding makeup for almost 6 years now. I love everything about makeup from doing beautiful bridal glams to fun creative looks! I love being apart of helping brides feel beautiful and making their experience special.

The funny thing is that I was never allowed to wear makeup when I was growing up. I think this is what made me want to even more. I started doing hair and makeup for friends and family when I was 14, and my love for the industry began to grow. The thing I love most about this industry is that I get the chance to help someone feel beautiful while making new friends at the same time. My favorite part about weddings is when the bride gets to see her finished look for the first time. I love seeing the reaction each time.

I have been in bridal hair and makeup for several years. I started my journey with hair and makeup in high school working with friends and family and completing multiple courses in cosmetology. I also have experience in artistic makeup. My favorite thing about weddings is the ceremony and being able to see the works of art on both the bride and the bridal party come together.

For weddings specifically, I enjoy getting to personally make everyone feel beautiful for a special day but mainly the bride! My favorite thing about weddings in general is getting to see the bride in their finished look with hair, makeup, dress, jewelry, etc. Nothing can beat a beautiful bride ready to walk down the isle.

In 2009 I joined theater in high school. That opened the door to hair and makeup. I then attended cosmetology school at Gainesville Cosmetology and felt it wasn't teaching me what I needed. Leaving, I went back into the theater world and trained for 5 years under some amazing teachers and applied for my makeup certification. Here I am 12 years later and I'm still in LOVE with my choices!
